Lomas del Volcan ligger 14 km fra Arenal og har frodige haver, udendørs pool samt spabad. Samtlige hytter har aircondition, gratis WiFi og fladskærms-tv med kabelkanaler. the location, the views, the cabin are very confortable, service perfect and food at restaurant was excellent.

Dette hotel ligger 10 minutters kørsel fra nationalparken Arenal Volcano og La Fortunas centrum. Der er stor have, solterrasse med swimmingpool, spa-behandlinger og gratis wi-fi overalt. The hotel was a "horizontal" complex in that all rooms were at ground level with just two rooms per building and the buildings are scattered throughout the property. As the rooms were on ground floor the view was limited, I guess because of privacy concerns by just stepping out the the door the the Arenal volcano is right in front of you, an amazing view! The breakfast was a well stocked buffet and the a la carte restaurant was also very good. For a less formal atmosphere we tried the excellent Sushi bar at the pool that is open til 10pm. (There is also a pizza place but we didn't try them). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours are available at the hotel and we took one to the volcano and another to jungle tour with suspension bridges. Both were good but we preferred the jungle tour. The thermal water hot pool was a great place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. If you have a car and feel a little adventurous the "Rio Celeste" in the Tenorio Volcano National Park is worth the trip. Its about 90mins from the hotel but be aware that the walking trail in the park is about 5 to 6 Km to take in all the viewing points and places can be uneven. To get to the waterfall there are perhaps 200 steps down (and then back up again!)

Sangregado Lodge ligger i Fortuna, 22 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, gratis privat parkering, terrasse og restaurant. If you are looking for a place close to La Fortuna and a lot of activities, this is not the place. It's a bit remote from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna but we like that it's situated on top of hills that required a windy drive to get to. The views are magnificent! The breakfast through their partners at Mystico's restaurant and the Lost Iguana were fantastic. The balcony views of the Arenal Volcano were exceptional. We loved the modern design of the lodge and waking up to the beautiful sunrise views of the volcano made for a relaxing stay. We really didn't need anything else after a long day out in town or tours.

Noah's Forest Hotel by Tifakara ligger i Fortuna, 7,4 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet, og tilbyder indkvartering med udendørs swimmingpool, gratis privat parkering, have og fælles opholdsstue. Beautiful grounds, room, and restaurant. All you can drink cappuccinos. Great food. Very nice pool and jacuzzi.

Amor Arenal Adults Friendly ligger i Fortuna, 10 km fra La Fortuna-vandfaldet. Der tilbydes concierge-service, ikkerygerværelser, have, gratis wi-fi og bar. It's one of the best hotels I've ever been in. Located in the middle of the jungle, spectacular rooms and the stuff were so helpful and nice. I hope to come back soon to this place!

Finca Luna Nueva Lodge ligger i Fortuna i Alajuela-regionen, 26 km fra Monteverde. Der tilbydes udendørs pool og spa-center. Feriegården har en udendørs pool, der er åben året rundt, og solterrasse. We stayed at Finca Nueva for 2 days. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! ROOM: Apparently we booked the best room (the Dome) that I highly recommend. It wasn’t more expensive than other rooms. It’s basically a huge bungalow with its own secluded garden. The room was huge and the interior was very unique. Very clean and cozy. There was a little kitchenette outside the bungalow with a tea pot/coffee maker/fridge with complimentary home brewed kombucha and homemade herbal tea. PROPERTY: this was what amazed as the most. This eco-friendly hotel is located on a few acres of rainforest. Their property included: a farm and a garden where they grow veggies, herbs, fruits, cocoa beans, tea, coffee, ginger, vanilla beans and DOZENS of other species if plants and beautiful flowers, a bamboo tower, a pool and a few MILES of trails through the rainforest that are perfectly maintained. They also offer tours like chocolate, coffee, animals/birds-watching tour that are highly rated but unfortunately they were fully booked so we couldn’t go. Also, they had an amazing yoga pavilion right next to our bungalow that we used a lot. During our stay we saw a sloth, agouties, toucans, parrots on the property. FOOD: Farm to table. They don’t have a set menu. Every day they decide what seasonal food they’ll serve based on what’s growing on their farm. They also prioritize buying from local farmers. Literally everything is homegrown, homemade and tastes delicious: bread, milk, kefir, butter, tea, chocolate… During our stay both breakfast and dinner were buffet style. Most delicious and healthy meals we’ve had in Costa Rica!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Tifakara Boutique Hotel is located just outside Arenal Volcano National Park in Fortuna where you can enjoy stunning volcanic views. Fantastic location, lovely grounds, great food and above all some of the most helpful and friendly staff you could meet. Would highly recommend
