This lovely and cozy guest house on a very nice woman's property was great! It is located in a rural area in the Lakes District, so if you're driving this circuit, this is a great place to stay. The woman was SO NICE but spoke no English. We were able to communicate okay with our terrible Spanish and Google Translate. The property is protected with a fence and has lovely trees/plants all around, as well as some very cute cows in a field. There is a full kitchen and fridge and dishes for cooking, a romantic wood stove that's easy to use, and a small but functional bathroom. Parking was easy, but there isn't much to walk to nearby, so having your own car is a must. We enjoyed our stay and it was very comfortable for a couple!
