The traditionally built, historic wood and stone house Flyhof in Weesen is a family-owned hotel, set directly at the shores of Lake Walen. Quaint historic inn. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and attentive. The whole place exudes warmth and welcome at a slower pace. Very attentive to our dietary needs (gluten free/celiac) and five star food. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Great hiking right out the door. Our favorite stay of a nearly three week European excursion!

In a quiet location above Lake Walensee, the Hotel Neu-Schönstatt offers a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. Free WiFi is available and the Flumserberg Cable Car is 2 km away. Amazing view, good location, we liked the breakfast.

Seminarhotel Lihn enjoys a quiet location in Filzbach on the Kerenzerberg plateau. It offers panoramic views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten mountain and free Wi-Fi. We had a family duplex room with a Mountain View. It’s was lovely and clean, felt almost new. The upstairs room had a tv. The views are something else! On request, the decorated a breakfast table for my husband’s birthday which was lovely, sat overlooking the mountains too.

On the slopes of the Flumserberg Mountain, Hotel Bergheim is a 2-minute drive from Flums and the Tannenheim Ski Area. Owners were very friendly and professional! Good breakfast and great location

Just 300 metres from the Maschgenkamm Cable Car, the Cristal Hotel is right next to the slopes and a ski lift of the Tannenboden/Flumserberg Ski Area. Very nice family run hotel 3 min walk from the gondola. Clean and comfortable room, comfy beds, bathroom very clean. Nice lobby area. Easy check in. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Excellent breakfast - great variety, fresh food, tasty freshly baked bread, home made jams, good coffee. All in all we loved our short stay.

Rooms at Hotel Sonne feature panoramic windows with a view of the Glarus Alps. The hotel is just 4 km away from Walensee Lake and Wi-Fi is free in public areas. View was sensational. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was great value. Beautiful ice cream at lunch time.

Set at the entrance of the Glarus Alps, lintharena ag enjoys a quiet location in Näfels. It offers rooms with private bathrooms and cable TV as well as 4 bed rooms with shared bathroom on the floor. Restaurant Food, the pool. It was all very clean! Workers were all helpful and very friendly.
