Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the center of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi. I got upgrade to a bigger apartment room with balcony at free. Room size is very big, all room facilities are perfect. Location is close to the bridge where taking photos of Matterhorn is perfect. Staff are very nice and helpful. Pick up service is excellent too.

One of the nicest hotels I have visited, with spacious rooms and luxurious facilities. The staff was super helpful as well, they would go above and beyond to help us. The room view was magnificent, with a clear view of the Matterhorn during the day and perfect for stargazing at night. Good breakfast served in the morning, but the views you will get here is something you definitely have to experience!

The hotel was amazing, from getting picked up to the check in with the hotel owner. Everything was perfect, breakfast was fantastic with the option to get anything you needed or wanted would be cooked. We enjoyed having some wine sitting by the fireplace both afternoons. The hotel was far enough but close enough to the main street. The staff were super helpful and accommodating, even having the owner coming up to us at breakfast to make sure everything was okay was a really nice touch. The beds were super comfortable and the turndown service was great. We would definitely stay here again.
The location is the best in Zermatt, the staff was very helpful spicaly Mr. Faisal, he was very kind and well knowledged. The concierge guys have answers for all my questions. And I am very sorry to forget the breakfast buffet manger because he were the best guy ever and has the most positive energy while serving people on the morning.

Hotel Ambassador was excellent with a stunning view of the Matterhorn and incredibly close to the train station it was easy to get to. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful always willing to help as needed. The room while small had all needed amenities and kept a lovely cabin feel! The new Carbon restaurant is a must try the food was beyond excellent and the staff in the restaurant were fantastic.
Especially the thermal bath. My room I love it front of the mountain where in thermal section second floor.

What to pick...EVERYTHING...the views, the room decor, the lounge, the terrace, the restaurants and the Spa!
We loved our stay here! The swiss cabins are beautiful and the use of the spa and hot tub are really nice. Lots of hiking nearby and a great view. The swiss cabins have very odd check-in hours. You can not check in until 5 pm ad checkout is at 1pm. It was really nice on the second day and the staff let us use the facilities while we were waiting for check-in. But I just thought it was worth writing. The place is really beautiful and the cabin was super comfy for 6 people. Just bring your own cutting board and knives because those were missing. Overall really recommended. Also the wifi was good and they allow dogs!

We loved the breath taking mountain views from every window, the sunny après-ski outside terrace and meals in the restaurant. The spa treatments were also very relaxing. Spectacular area, lovely slopes and snow shoe tracks...a wonderful stay all round. We will be back.
