Breakfast was basic but plentiful: with breads, jams, cheese & eggs at your disposal. Room: Scandinavian chic comes to mind. Decor is simple but works well as the natural outdoor scenery shines bright.

Right on the shore of Lake Lucerne, Hotel Seerausch in Beckenried offers panoramic lake and mountain views, a lakeside bar, and free WiFi. The hotel room has an amazing view of the lake. Room was big and clean. Very friendly staff and nice food for breakfast.

The Seehotel Pilatus is situated on the shores of Lake Lucerne. It offers a large indoor pool, a hot tub, and free Wi-Fi. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms provide mountain views. Friendly staffs, thanks to the driver taking us from and to the station, we had two heavy luggages which making walking difficult, but it is only 10mins walk from the station to the hotel. Great outdoor areas. Best breakfast of the month in Europe, wide variety and everything tastes really good. The pool and spa were great also.
