Located on a slope above the village of Miglieglia and 16 km from Lugano, Albergo Santo Stefano is a traditional Ticinese style building from the 18th century. It offers rooms with a private bathroom.... What a truly special place. They have thought of every detail! Beds very comfortable and rooms really clean, and the spot is magical. Love all the common areas outside the rooms and so nice how they have laid out books and games and all. Breakfast was delicious - esp the homemade jams and homemade granola. Location is brilliant for hiking. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

Overlooking Lake Lugano, 3 km away, Albergo Ristorante Stampa is set in the village of Cadegliano Viconago, outside Ponte Tresa. What a view! We got a room with a balcony and a view to the lake and it was worth it! The hotel was nice and tidy, the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing, obviously made with quality products. And the view from the restaurant could not be better. There was a terrace and a pool, both with a view to the lake, free parking.

Hotel Grotto Bagat is located on the shores of Lake Lugano, on the road to Brusimpiano. All rooms are spacious and some offer lake views. The restaurant serves local cuisine. The view is worth every penny and I would say the price is anyways very affordable. The food at the Ristorante is exquisite (especially the pizze, since they are a pizzeria in the first place), the lunch menu is extremely recommendable, as it provides you with so many delicious dishes included in the already very low price. The closest supermarket is in Lavena Ponte Tresa and can be reached either by bus (there is a bus stop exactly in front of the hotel) or just by foot, since it's just about 2.5 km which can be walked in 30'. It's super close to Switzerland, there's even Swiss network still available...

Built in 1914 and located 850 meters above sea level, Kurhaus Cademario Hotel & DOT Spa - Ticino Hotels Group has massage, relaxation and steam rooms. The staff are really nice and very helpful And the Tunisian receptionist guy was very helpful friendly

Regina Bed & Breakfast is located in Agno, 7.5 km from Exhibition Center Lugano and 11 km from Swiss Miniatur. In the center of Agno. Restaurants and shops around. A safe space to store the bycicles.

Albergo Ristorante Belcantone is situated in Novaggio, within 28 km of Villa Panza and 30 km of Mendrisio Station. Everything was perfect here! Cozy hotel in ancient building in the center of the village. Clean and nicely equiped room, very good breakfast and best coffee! Best option for 60chf in this region!

Located on a quiet hilltop in Cademario in the Malcantone region, a 15-minute drive from Lugano, the Al Ponte offers views of Lake Lugano and the mountains from all rooms. Lovely place, beautiful hotel, the view is just out of this world! Can't recommend enough this place!

Situated in Sessa, I Grappoli features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (25 x 15 metres), garden, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. This 3-star hotel offers a shared lounge. Rooms are simple but very spacious! The hotel is extremely clean!! The swimming pool a must! All in all we had a great stay!

The Villa Garni Gardenia**** is situated within walking distance from the Lugano Lake in the calmest corner of Caslano. The lake peninsula is an inviting setting for relaxing walks. This is a tranquil haven five minutes walk from the lovely, old town of Caslano and the lake. The pool area is spacious and surrounded by beautiful trees and the garden below is majestic and extensive. Although dinner is not served, immediately opposite is a family-run restaurant that serves traditional dishes for a reasonable price. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast on the terrace in the garden.
