The room is in the downtown district of Shawinigan, close to many restaurants. The room is quite small, perfect for one night (no closet or drawer space available) The breakfast was great and they accommodated my husband who does not eat eggs by adding a second type of meat.

Auberge La Rocaille is 3 km from the Grand-Mère city centre and is 90 minutes’ drive from Montréal. It features spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi. I was looking for an affordable property close to Parc Mauricie for a night layover. the property’s locations was nice - it was 10 mins away (by car) from Parc entrance. the room was quite spacious and was very clean. the staff at the reception was very courteous and helpful.

This Shawinigan hotel is less than 5 minutes's drive from Melville Island Park. The hotel features free WiFi, a gym and cable TV in every room. Breakfast was very good wad surprised with the many options

Located 4 km from La Mauricie National Park, Maison Cadorette is a bed and breakfast offering 5 air-conditioned rooms, each with its own private bathroom, mini-fridge and coffee maker. Nadine and Pierre were incredible hosts and made us feel right at home. They were very friendly and welcoming, we were lucky to be there during the national holiday, and their special evening. The accommodation was perfectly located for visiting the national park and the rooms were comfortable and cozy!

Room was very spacious and beautifully appointed, it was wonderful to spread out a bit after so many hotel rooms. And my legs appreciated spending time in the spa tub after a day of hiking in beautiful Mauricie National Park!! Alain is a great host, he's hilarious and a great cook, too. Plenty of excellent restaurants in Shawinigan for the evenings. Really a lovely spot to stay for a couple of days!

Set between the Saint-Maurice River and the surrounding hills, this B&B in Saint-Jean-des-Piles is just 5 km from La Mauricie National Park of Canada. A hot breakfast and Wi-Fi access are included. If you’re looking for something in the area, stop searching, because THIS IS IT! We enjoyed our stay so much! Beautiful location and house, great breakfast and dinner, and wonderful hosts that are at your service to provide with any information you may require. Highly recommended!

Great location near the National Park. The owner did a great job communicating. The quality of everything in the property was what one would expect at their home but not for a rental. It exceeded our expectations.
