The room was cozy, the view was extremely nice and the proximity to the water made our stay very peaceful. Opening our outside door we could hear the waves really well and it created a great ambiance. The staff was really great and the rooms big and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

When we first arrived I realized it wasn’t going to be a normal motel. It had a very small family owned motel feel. It was smaller then your used to motel but I can’t honestly complain about anything and it just had a kind of home away from home feel. I only saw 2 staff, the owner the first day and then the cleaning lady. Stayed 5 nights and every time we went back I was extremely comfortable which I don’t useually have when staying at a motel, after a couple nights I wanna leave but here it was a pleasure to get back to at the end of the day. Located on the Réserve faunique de Matane reserve in the heart of the Chic-Chocs Mountains, this lodge is surrounded by hiking trails and wildlife. This is a fantastic lodge set in its own unspoiled mountain playground. It is rare to have a high-class hotel found in such a stunning location without having to share with other tourists. The staff are superb, and the Guides had encyclopedic knowledge of the local area and the extensive wildlife. Nothing was too much. The lodge really felt like a 'home from home'. So many activites to do - hiking, canoeing, E-biking to name a few.

The hotel, location, and owners were all so incredibly lovely. Watching the gulls fly over the sea from the balcony every day was such a peaceful treat. Perfect home base for our skiing trip to Gaspesie National Park (about 40 minute drive) and made our spring trip so memorable.
