We had a great time at Tonito Hotel! The first night we arrived quite late, and Chris was so kind to wait for us and made us a very delicious Pizza. Rooms are very clean, and the best: there are hot showers (even with high water pressure)!!! Which we really enjoyed after our salar-tour. We were also allowed to store our big luggage. Nice experience, the hotel waited for us with a warm room, the beds are very large and very soft, the bedding has flower aromas. The girl at the reception was very friendly and this is the cleanest place I found in Uyuni, they do tours to the salt desert and this is highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our three nights at Hotel Cayara. Staying at this beautiful, historic hacienda was a highlight of our trip. We would love to come back. We enjoyed wandering around the gardens and took a hike past the waterfall to what is called the "city of rocks." It was absolutely beautiful. The location is very peaceful and serene. I absolutely look forward to returning. The breakfast was a nice spread, with fresh eggs and homemade cheese. We had dinner at the hacienda two nights, everything was delicious. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. We recommend taking the museum tour of the house, and we learned it has so many interesting historical objects and seeing the older rooms and library was a treat. This is a very very special place. We took a day trip to Potosi. We took a city tour and asked to go to the entrance of a mine, without going in. It was very interesting learning the important history of Potosi and Cayara!
