Simply wow! One of the best places to stay on our trip to Australia. Our cottage was lovingly decorated, it was very clean, had enough space and perfect facilities. The beds are a dream, we slept very well. Plus the wonderful air from the Grampians, birds and numerous kangaroos right at and around the cottage. We felt very comfortable with Matt and Danny. The surroundings with various walks are impressive. If you are travelling to the Grampians and looking for accommodation in Halls Gap, you should not miss Wonderland Cottages!

We had brought our own breakfast, so cannot comment on what may have been provided. Overall, our stay was excellent. The facilities and staff at The Grampians Motel were by far the best of the five motels that we stayed in during this road trip from Melbourne into Sth Australia and back home again. The location is on the edge of Halls Gap town, but the views of the mountains and the small mobs of animals (kangaroos, wallabies, emus) across a very large park like front gardens were beautiful. Such a beautiful location. set in the true Australian countryside of open plains with stunning views of the Grampians. The accommodation is fully self contained log cabins with everything supplied to make a great stay.. Waking up every morning to so many kangaroos only meters away from the front door of the cabin in their natural environment - absolutely awesome. The owners were so nice and really wanting you to have a wonderful stay.

Cockatoo Cabin is a rustic timber home which is a great as a base for exploring the Grampians region. It's a small partly renovated cabin with a modern bathroom. The cockatoos arrived on the verandah within 2 minutes of parking our car there! And they're very friendly. Plus we found a kangaroo in the front garden when returning one evening. This is the best area in Victoria for seeing Australian wildlife roaming free.

Grampians View Cottages is a wonderful place. Our one BR apartment was spacious with a veranda. We loved that there were kangaroo visits to our place in the evening if you were looking. There is good Netflix streaming which is not typically the case although there is no cell service so you rely on the WiFi. Great family grounds and access to all Grampian attractions. A beautiful place to stay. Very spacious with a lovely yard, stunning views and an occasional kangaroo or kookaburra stopping by. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The Main Street and gas station were less than 5 minutes’ drive down the road - super accessible. We had the loveliest time here and it broke our hearts to leave. Highly recommended for any family or group of friends planning to visit the Grampians!

A warm welcome to the hotel by the owners who took time to sit with us around a bonfire at night for a chat and a few drinks. A really clean and welcoming place to stay in the middle of the countryside with breathtaking views of the Grampians. In the morning we opened our room door to a field full of grazing kangaroos and roaring fire in the communal area. Really nice place to stay.

The owner Karen was magnificent, she was very welcoming and informative and even offered to drive us into Dunkeld so we could have dinner at the Royal Mail Hotel. The accommodation is on a lovely farm with spectacular views of Mt Sturgeon in the Grampians.
Location, Host and rooms are great. There is from time to time live music outdoors + a bar. You can see a lot of eastern grey roos on the lawn next to the accommodation! The Grampians are just beautiful.

A great location with very friendly hosts. The hotel is located well if you are traveling to the Grampians or if you need somewhere quiet to unwind. We'll definitely visit this motel again.
