Newly opened in winter 2012, Alpinhotel Pacheiner is situated on the Gerlitzen Alp at over 1,900 metres above sea level. The breakfast was a super open buffet with option to get excellent freshly cooked eggs. Dinner was a delicious 5 course meal. Sauna is hot, the infinity pool is beautiful.

Nearly everything and everyone there is just great. Restaurant is classy with great food and atmosphere for the evenings, and the breakfast is just superior to many 5-star hotels. Selection of herbal and fruit teas is enormous. Staff is very pleasant and helpful, everything in hotel is modern, common area doors are automatic touch-free, rooms are spacious with a large entry area which is especially convenient if you came skiing. Located in the former Benedictine Abbey of Ossiach, dating from the 11th century, this hotel is right on the shore of Lake Ossiach, next to the shipping pier. It was a great place, exceeded our expectations. It is truly a wonderful experience to get a grasp of the past and centuries of history that took place in the same hallways you are walking on. Staff was great and helpful, breakfast super great and overall a great experience

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. We arrived with flowers and they gave us a large vase. The hotel hosts theme nights. We got to the evening of Italian cuisine. nice beach with enough space for everyone. The rooms are quiet even though the windows face the road
