Quirky and iconic, Noah Ark is set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, in Nyeri. The lodge overlooks a watering hole and salt lick, attracting a variety of wildlife, and features four viewing areas, including a ground-level bunker. The staff really make this an exceptional experience, starting at the country club (Paul and Nderitu), continuing on the drive (Stephen) and of course everyone at the Ark. Special mention to Anne at the Ark, expert in aromatherapy massage. The Ark is so relaxing and so quiet with a true emphasis on the animals. We have been drawn back to this beautiful place several times over the last 32 years and will continue to return.

Providing mountain views, Mount Kenya Farm Stay in Nanyuki provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Jenny and Emily were super friendly and helpful. They are also amazing cooks and the food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and light and depending on the room you have a great view on Mt Kenya or the Aberdare Mountain Range. The beds were very comfortable and, bonus, the property is off the grid and is eco friendly.

Set in Nanyuki within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters Serena Camp offers free WiFi and free private parking on site. The property boasts a garden and bar.
The units in the lodge are fitted with a wardrobe, desk, electric kettle and coffee maker. Each tent has a private bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Start to finish all excellent. Variety of choices to eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Very friendly staff, were able to prepare indian vegetarian cuisine as per our request, great food and most of it very clean.

Grounds are magnificent with plenty of activities at the hotel and close proximity to amazing safaris. Rolling hills with the stunning Mount Kenya in the background combined with roaming wildlife and activities make the hotel worth staying at for at least part of the trip rather than spending all day at safaris.
Good and reasonably priced acomodation with waterhole in front of most tents, good restaurant, swimming pool. Very good point to start self drive safaris in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, however we found western areas 7 - 10 km behind the bridge, along the river the most interesting.
Separate lodges all comfortable. The owner Gladys was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend and return
A clean and serene lodge. Purity and her staff were friendly.
The cottages were very luxurious, and the staff were all incredibly helpful. Every request we had was fulfilled! A special shout out to Martin for being so helpful and connecting us with a local driver for Safari and restaurant trips. He also helped us organise a birthday surprise! The rooms were spotless and cleaned to a very high standard every day. We loved it and can't wait to come back!
