What a stunning vineyard stay we had here. The property is gorgeous and has maintained its historic style throughout. We dined in Manor kitchen and had a wine tasting too which was really great (booking came with a free tasting). Breakfast was always spot on and fresh with a wide selection of cold cuts and a decent a la carte menu.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves.
The staff are wonderful.

The room was luxurious and spacious. Staff were exceptional in providing assistance and sincere in their efforts to ensure your stay was memorable. This is a first class property at affordable rates. Great location for walks along the river, shopping and dining choices. The breakfast is extensive and delicious! I highly recommend River Manor and hope to stay there again on our next trip to Stellenbosch. Lovely hotel and lovely and helpful staff.
This was our second visit in 4 years. The stay was just as amazingly wonderful as the first. The staff were phenomenally friendly and helpful, the guest house itself is immaculate and very nicely decorated, the breakfasts are very substantial and tasty, the location is amazing...it's in the countryside but within a few short minutes drive to some of the top Stellenbosch wineries (Tokara, Delaire Graff, Oldenburg, etc) and restaurants,
I was originally booked into the self catering section which does not have Wifi on load shedding which was a problem as i had to work. The staff were exceptional in moving me into the hotel so i could work comfortably. The parking of hte hotel is a real problem. can accommodate 5 very small cars at a push and is not well signposted at all. Ask the staff to stand outside the hotel and show you how to get into the parking.
Most incredible hotel from start to finish. The staff are so kind and welcoming. The hotel grounds are presented so beautifully with incredible views. The rooms are very spacious and very well decorated. Breakfast is delicious with lots of personal options. Great location for getting around Stellenbosch! Had the most wonderful time and definitely will be back.
Warm greeting on arrival, great location for either Stellenbosch or nearby wine farms (needed a place to stay after a wedding at Tokara) in a quiet part of town. Was nice to have dedicated parking available off-street (though not behind a gate so don't leave anything valuable in the car). Enjoyed the Full English breakfast.
Quality over quantity is how the welcoming host Charl described the Deux Freres wines during our complementary wine tasting.
The same can be said about the two sizeable ground floor apartments. Fitted with many luxuries and complemented with above and beyond service, it is an oasis within a stone's throw from Stellenbosch.
Very lovely place- clean and friendly staff. The swimming pool and views are amazing! Really the most amazing part of this hotel.
Rooms are a bit on the small side, but the view, and the bed is amazing! Also private balcony with amazing views.
Stunning Boutique Hotel ib the heart of Stellenbosch - I do have to add that Temba who manages the property is excellent from check-in to the delicious breakfast he cooked managing the hotel on his own and being there for each guest is incredible.
One of the best self catering accommodations I have ever stayed at. You have access to everything you need (and so much more) with great attention to detail. I will definitely want to stay here again during future visits to Stellenbosch.
What a lovely find. The one ro.self catering cottage was perfect for us for the night. Lovely braai and wood provided. Beautiful setting on the dam and garden. Lovely to see the huge tortoises.. Will definitely be back.
Love the feel of the hotel. The rooms are generous in size and have everything one needs. Lots of parking and the location is fabulous. The staff are friendly and we always choose to stay here when in Stellenbosch.
Lovely boutique hotel in central Stellenbosch with very friendly staff and lovely rooms. Even though ours was a "small" room, it wasn't cramped, had a balcony and a comfortable bathroom. Good breakfast.
The property was gorgeous- modern, clean, great design however what made our stay one to remember were the staff. Impeccable service, one we have not seen across any 5 star hotel weve been to
Absolutely adored the "boho" vibe indoors and loved soaking up the lively buzz of Stellenbosch. Everything you need, from shops to restaurants, is just a stroll away.
Excellent stay at Oude Werf! We loved everything about it and the location couldn't be better being in the heart of Stellenbosch. We would happily stay there again.
Amazing location - very close to Stellenbosch central and also the wine farms. The estate is gorgeous and very secure. Waking up to the view is also exceptional.
De Zeven is a beautiful hotel! The views are incredible, rooms are large and comfortable, and the service was great. The complimentary breakfast was delicious!
