The Acadia Hotel is situated right on Bar Harbor's village green, so nearly every shop and restaurant is less than a 10-minute walk away. Also easy access to Acadia National Park. Hotel guests get guaranteed parking spaces (behind the building) in a part of town where street parking can be brutally competitive. The complementary continental breakfast includes an omelette bar. The hotel has bikes, hiking equipment, and umbrellas to lend out to guests. They also have printed hiking guides that you can take into the park.
The town bus picks you up directly in front of the hotel. It was very convenient and comfortable way to get into town and drops you in the center of the town, Village Green. Easy way to avoid the parking!
It is a very convenient location to everything in the area. Short walk to Village Green for bus access to Acadia National Park. Easy walk to shopping and restaurant area in town.
Great location, a block from the Village Green and buses to Acadia. On the crowded main drag but good should insulation. Nice clean room, looks to be recently redone. Soft bed.
