Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel! It was perfect - very clean, very friendly staff and helpful, the view of the Sakurajima was beautiful.

- Extremely convenient location. Literally opposite the JR train station (both local and shinkansen/bullet train) gate entrance. Door to platform around 5mins.
- Lots of food options around. Two convenient stores within half a minute walk. Big shopping centres next door and opposite the road. Five minutes walk to tram and bus stops which takes you to most parts of Kagoshima.
- Staff efficient, never had to wait to be served. They are able to communite with English fairly well.
- Lots of free toilet amenities available in the lobby (free for guests); apart from the usual stuff (toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, toner, cream, shower cap, cotton buds, razors etc), they also have shaving gel which is not that common. Very thoughtful. Bath salt available.
- Spacious room in Japanese standard. The bathroom is very nice. The showering cubicle and bathtub were comfortable.
- TV with youtube and netflix function was nice.
- We didn't use it but people can keep their luggage in individual lockers at the lobby.
- Beds, pillows were comfortable.
- Daily refilled complimentary bottled water.
- Nice to have a late check out time of 11am.

The location of Solaria is impeccable. With many restaurant choices just down the hotel and very centrally located with magnificent view for さくらじま. Our room at 14F floor also gets this wonderful view. Room is spacious, clean, and modern. Solaria has 3 parking sites that they co-operated with. We parked in the one that's just next to the hotel building.

I got the free shuttle from Kagoshima Chuo station and had an easy check-in. The rooms are a little small but comfortable. The wifi worked well for my business needs. The onsen is clean, and I wish I had caught the view during the day. The area around the hotel isn't the most pedestrian-friendly, but there's a mall and a conbini across the street and a Starbucks around the corner. The staff were extremely friendly, and I hope to stay at this hotel again.
very good location, ~300m from Kagoshima Chuo Station. Staff is very friendly. Everything is clean and tidy.
If you arrive late, you can check in by yourself. Staff can email you the password for the back door.
The location was an easy walk from Kagoshima chuo station. Our room had a bunk bed and a loft which was a cool design and well use of a space. Google map location listed the Little Asia guesthouse location on the main street. It is an old entrance no longer used as per staff. You have to go around the block to a side street to find the new main entrance.
Location: in front of Kagoshima Chuo station, so easy access to public transport. Nice views of the Ferris wheel and Christmas lights from my room.
