The staff in the morning were incredibly helpful in letting us know the best route to get to where we wanted to go. For a motorway service station hotel the views were actually quite lovely. And it was nice having a microwave available in the reception in case we didn't want to buy some takeaway food.

This property was stunning. The rooms were large and regal. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with a variety of walking paths, flowers, and greenery. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend staying at Thornbury Castle for a unique, one of a kind experience.
We were attending a wedding at Thornbury Castle and the location was perfect. Close to everything, shops, restaurants and pubs. The owners and staff were friendly & helpful. Interesting place with lots of history and breakfast was delicious!
I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about Thornbury Castle! What I was most impressed with was the attention to detail that was evident in everything- from exterior to interior presentation and decor, to the extremely welcoming and pleasant staff, to the food, the service, etc. Nothing was left unattended to and no detail was too small!! I had the pleasure of speaking with several staff members during my stay and all of them LOVE the castle and its history and are enthusiastic to share it with you. Best overall travel experience I've ever had!
