This hotel is in a great location right by Plymouth Hoe. Had a superior room that was lovely. Nice clean ensuite. We could store our bikes securely in a room near reception. Very comfortable bed. Really good breakfast. We had dinner at The Waterfront, just a short walk down on the sea front. This is the second time staying here. Very nice hotel.

Location, opposite Plymouth Pavilions and close to town. Old fashioned feel with impressive staircase. Room was large and light. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great location ideal if you are going to an event at Plymouth Pavilions, or just visiting Plymouth. Charming old style grand hotel of a bygone era that has potential. This was our second stay in 20 years and we are glad that it is still going. We will stay again. Staff excellent.

Louise on reception and David behind bar were exceptionally friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Disappointed that there were no biscuits in room, as says you get them. I was told they'd stopped doing them. For the price felt this was a bit churlish!
The room was comfy and spacious, but the loo took
ages to fill after flushing. Lovely hot shower though.
