Staff were super kind, both in emails and face to face. The room was very clean and tidy, bed was comfy and veiw from the balcony was great. The location is great, close to many bars and restaurants in walking distance.

Groveland
This historic old-west boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Groveland, CA is a short 30-minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park. Pine Mountain Lake is less than 5 minutes away. Hotel Charlotte has an in-house restaurant and bar, Charlotte's Tavern, serving lunch and dinner from 11-3 and 5-8:30. We have outdoor and balcony dining, too. Hotel Charlotte is surrounded by a variety of local eateries, shops, and coffee houses all within walking distance. Cozy, historic and charming! Was a great place to stay ahead of driving into Yosemite. The owners were so friendly and attentive, and the free coffee and muffin for breakfast was a treat!

We had memorable times with kids in Ski season.
The staffs were friendly for travelers, we were really relaxed in there. One of our recommendations was Strawberry Hamburger in the restaurant. If you have a chance, try it!
Mariposa
The Quality Inn Yosemite Valley Gateway hotel in Mariposa, CA is located near the junction of California's famous Highway 49, known as California's Golden Chain, and State Route 140, the all-year access to the west entrance of Yosemite Valley and Yosemite National Park. We used this hotel as our base for travelling in and out of Yosemite for our holiday. Good price for the area. Plenty of nearby shops. Staff were friendly, room was large, clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer available for $2-$2.50 each which was great as we were backpacking. Free breakfast was a great bonus to fuel up for hiking in Yosemite.
Mammoth Lakes
The Quality Inn near Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort hotel is conveniently located just four miles from Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, with nearby shuttle to and from the resort every 30 minutes during the ski season. Awesome hot breakfast buffet included!!! It had eggs, bacon, country potatoes with sausage in them, a make-your-own waffle station, pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, juice, and all included with your stay!! Also, the location was great, plenty of parking, super nice lady at the front desk, a little store at front desk for snacks, and last but not least, a beautiful, huge, hot tub! With towels for hot tub use! I loved this stay and wish that I could have a stay like this wherever I go. Bed comfortable also, and gave 4 pillows per bed instead of 2. ✔️

Cute, old Hotel close to Yosemite. Very friendly staff, free drink on the house, would def. recommend. If we ever go to Yosemite again, we’ll definitely be back!

Hotel had a rustic old style saloon feel on the outside but inside was super clean, comfortable and charming. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Tavern and cafe /restaurant inside had great food snd drinks. Coffee, tea , muffins , donuts , fruit etc provided for guests in the mornings is a nice touch. Overall a wonderful experience
Very cosy cottage, beautiful surroundings, very friendly innkeepers.
Such a cosy, characterful and comfortable cottage all to ourselves! Lovely innkeeper who even came out to greet us after check in time too. Everything you could need and the location was perfect- amazing for peace and quiet and a relaxing stay, and the stars were just out of this world.
Everything was absolutely perfect. Amazing spacious room with all needed equipment, great style and fantastic view. Innkeeper Pamela who is fantastic, kind and helpful person. Was there for us in case of any troubles and help us A LOT in planning our Yosemite hiking. The Inn is placed 2 minutes drive from park entrance which is super convenient. I really cannot think of better accomadation, BEST IN CLASS!

Oakhurst is about a 10min drive, and we could find large supermarkets and some restaurants there. We loved Plazuelas Mexican, and also Dulce Sabor for Mexican desserts. Yosemite's south entrance is also reasonably close, and we enjoyed some horseback riding at Yosemite Trails as well. The innkeepers were very helpful and friendly. Thank you!

The innkeepers are so kind and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. This made for such an unique and memorable experience. I'll definitely be back. The inn is also so close to everything you'd need, and the free town shuttle stop is only a couple of minutes walk away.
Cute, quaint. Room on the small side, but clean. About what you can expect for a historic hotel. We arrived close to 9 so were glad the tavern across the street was able to offer dinner - was good.
What did I love? I loved everything. :) I booked the wrong day at the beginning and Tom was very helpful and he quickly fixed the issue. They shared information for the road which saved my day since Maps was providing a direction via closed road. They welcomed us warmly when we checked in. The room was lovely and cozy with the little fireplace inside. The food was amazing in the tavern. The sky and the stars at night were gorgeous.
