I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

Eleanor was behind the bar and she was an excellent host! Really looked after us and all the other customers. The place was packed, fully booked restaurant, heaps of walk ins trying to get a table. She handle everything so well. All the servers were lovely too. The food was exceptional!! Fast service too! We have the Skink, the mussels, the beef roast and Venison burger. Every mouthful was full of flavour!! Delicious!
