It’s the perfect spot for a quiet getaway in the Black Forest. Unfortunately the Werner Michelin restaurant was closed on the Monday and Tuesday we were there. But we had dinner at their Schlossschanke restaurant and the food was fantastic. Top service award goes to Julia who served us at Schlossschanke. My husband is lactose intolerant and she made sure his dinner was dairy free. The area is also a great spot for walking.
A traditional, lovely hotel. Very helpful staff on the whole. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice. Dinner was very well cooked and presented.

Rooms are very comfortable and the facilities fine. The pool is excellent, clean and a good size. The breakfast was generous and varied. We hired bicycles which were excellent and enabled us to both ride into town for dinner and to explore the region.

The hotel resides in a quiet residential area and it a small family owned hotel dating back a hundred years in the sense of style. It's a rustic classic build southern German building and has been fully kept as original as possible. The location is perfect with a lot of restaurant option mere minutes walking from the hotel.
This is a rustic German inn in a great location. Very clean, basic but overall a great little hotel for a short stay. Our room on the first floor opened onto an inner garden courtyard which was nice.
A traditional and comfortable apartment in a classic chalet, flowery balconies included. Location is a beautiful small hamlet, very quiet and peaceful with lovely views. We were in the self-catering flat but meals are available every day for breakfast and dinner (book ahead) either in the house or at the next door guest house. Easy parking and access to great hiking routes and supermarket but you do need a car. BBQ night once a week for all the guests!
Spacious apartment with well-equiped kitchen, big bathroom, balcony where you can have a dinner with an excellent view on the forest, and last but not least - super friendly personnel. We enjoyed every day of our stay in this guest house, and we'll definitely come back!
Very nice guest house! We had a very spacious family room - we loved the canopy bed! All the beds were very comfortable. The owner was very nice and since the restaurant at the guest house was closed, he recommended us several places where we could have dinner and breakfast. We would definetely return to this guest house when we are again in the area.
