An evening wine and cheese reception is offered nightly between 5pm and 6pm in the estate library. The hotel also offers freshly baked cookies in the evenings. A rooftop bar and grill is open for lunch and dinner, and a coffee shop is also on site.

Great location in the heart of Charleston. Beautiful facility. Gets its name from the renovation of several older buildings. Wine and cheese every night in the lounge area. Rooms are spacious, well appointed with small kitchenette and complimentary sodas and sparkling water, cheese and crackers in the refrig. We've stayed here before and will stay here again. Highly recommend

This luxury South Carolina inn is in the heart of Charleston’s historic district on Meeting Street and 42 m from Market Street. Features include free continental breakfast and 19th century-style rooms with free WiFi.

Beautiful hotel in restored house. Very local, actually in the middle of town and by the market. 5 o'clock drinks served in the garden with little hors d'oeuvres and fruit. Relaxed and comfortable in "sourthern style". Nice rooms with amazing bed in old style, elevated above the floor. And the most friendly cleaning staff... warm smiles to welcome you in the hotel. Sure, the receptionist were nice, but it's the cleaning staff that's the most important

The staff, especially the consigner was fantastic, going out of her way to provide excellent ideas and places to go. The room , the bed, and the bath was great. I would recommend the Planters Inn the best we have stayed in.

Location was perfect for walking 10 minutes into the center of Daniel Island - we walked to dinner and it was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like a baby. I loved that the hotel is pet friendly - we were really made to feel like our dog was welcome, rather than an inconvenience. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, parking was ample and shared with the Home2 next door.

We loved the quaint atmosphere of Meeting Street Inn as well as the continental breakfast, wine and cheese at 5:00, and the nighttime cookies. We especially liked the fact that we could hang out in the lobby and visit with each other-after a day or two, it felt like our home! The rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were updated. The location was central to everything we wanted to do, and we walked almost everywhere.

Great facilities, the staff were extremely helpful, helping us with a connection for a tour and printing our boarding passes. The room and breakfast was great and they recommended a great dinner spot and the staff shuttle took us there and back, because my 95 yr old mother was unable to walk that far. I would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is beautiful and well staffed. Many hotels have gotten away from extra services since the pandemic. I am glad to see the French Quarter Inn has not. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I loved staying at this resort. The rooms were beautiful, and the view from the hotel was spectacular. We enjoyed s'mores by the firepits as well as live music in the evening. It was great to see the kids enjoying the Easter egg hunt. Breakfast and dinner at the Fish House were great. We also enjoyed the water taxi to visit Charleston.

The location of the Barksdale House Inn was close to historic Charleston either for walking or for taking the free shuttle. It was very helpful to have on-property parking.

Nice historic inn with parking at the rear for $7.50 per day. Great location for all the bars and restaurants on King street. There is also a free bus service that runs around Charleston. We had a great room with a large four poster bed that was very comfortable. Breakfast was great and the lady at breakfast was so friendly and accommodating. Would recommend 👍.
