Brannan Cottage Inn, hotel in Calistoga

Built in 1860, this Calistoga hotel features uniquely decorated Victorian-era guest rooms. Free parking is available at this 100% nonsmoking hotel.

Well situated, just off the beaten path but walkable to everything in a couple blocks, peaceful, solid structure, lovely sitting area. Attractive not just for guests but also locals and other visitors who enjoy the firepit/garden seating /fountain areas. They really made great use of the design of the space. Nice bathroom amenities and a heated toilet seat was actually something I could get used to :) Very comfortable bed, freshest linens and comfortable pillows. Well organized room and appreciated mini frig.

Warm, cozy, and inviting are just a few of the words that come to mind about our stay at the Trailside Inn. Loni is great. The homemade banna-nut bread and muffins were absolutely delicious. The grounds are picturesque with plenty of spots for great photos. The location is perfect, close to both Calistoga and St. Helena. Castillo di Amorosa is a 5 minute drive, with many winerys close by.

Adorable Inn. Rooms are extremely well appointed with thoughtful items. Loved the complimentary Gummy Bears & M&M’s and water, espresso maker and even a flat iron?! Who has that? Communication was exceptional and having the Sam’s General Store Coffee shop steps away was a perfect morning stop. We will be back for sure!!!

The owner is super friendly and made us feel very welcome. And she even brought the breakfast basket to the cottage herself. Inside there was orange juice, fruits, and some sweet bakery. Coffee was available at the cottage so we were already drinking coffee when she arrived as announced at 8 am. The cottage was nice, big, clean, cozy, and with all the commodities. At night we turned on the electric fireplace. I can recommend it! It's super close to the village, so we walked to have dinner there.

Perfect bed & breakfast inn, a very nice change from the typical AirBnB experience. Hospitable hosts, delicious farm-fresh breakfast, romantic but not overboard decor. The inn is set back from the road among fruit trees and vineyards, just minutes from downtown Calistoga. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or hot tub, but it's a for-real pool, not a little motel pool. Great stay, great value,
