The floating house, An Bord Zwei, is located between the Baltic Sea and the Schlei in its home port in OstseeResort Olpenitz on the Baltic Sea fjord Schlei and the Baltic Sea at jetty 1. Water on all sides is what makes this vacation home so interesting. Panoramic window fronts allow you to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the roof terrace offers spectacular 360-degree views of the Schlei and Baltic Sea and the Olpenitz marina. The Baltic Sea is just a jump into the water and the white sandy beach of the Baltic Sea resort is within walking distance. In the darker months of the year, underfloor heating and a sauna provide cozy comfort, because a wellness program is a must on a houseboat like this. The Magenta Smart TV with home entertainment program provides entertainment. Free WiFi is of course included. The floating house extends over three levels. The open-plan living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and adjoining terrace are located on the upper floor. From here you can access the spectacular roof terrace with a view over the sailing and sports boat harbor, the Schlei and its estuary into the Baltic Sea. Equipped with high-quality garden furniture, a beach chair and Weber electric barbecue, the terraces offer a pure vacation feeling and breathtaking sunsets. The jetty is right on the doorstep, so getting there with your own boat is no problem. The relaxation area of the house is located on the first floor with two bedrooms (equipped with box-spring double beds) and one bedroom with two single beds, plus a shower bathroom and sauna. The master bedroom boasts a floor-to-ceiling panoramic window front through which you can enjoy the breathtaking water scenery and an adjoining surrounding terrace. Naturally, the view of the sea and the swans swimming past can also be enjoyed while taking a sauna or brushing your teeth. If you want to arrive with your boat, this is the right place for you. There is a private sunbathing area right next to the house.

The Ostsee-Resort Olpenitz is located in the far north between the Baltic Sea and the Schlei and close to the town of Kappeln. Eckernförde is approx. 30 minutes away. The cities of Kiel and Flensburg can be reached in 45 minutes. Within the resort you will find numerous stores, a supermarket, a harbor for water sports enthusiasts and a large beach. The nearest airports are in Hamburg and Lübeck.
