The location is a few minutes walk from the main area and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, but the hostel itself is quiet. The staff itself were very helpful when we decided to stay a couple more nights, and helped us with transport. The rooms and bed are clean and comfortable, you get a full privacy/light block curtain, a locker, bottle of water, and the sheets are very clean. There are plenty of toilets and showers so I never had to wait, and everything is rather clean. Great value for money. There is a chill common area downstairs that you can sit at, play some pool.... There is a laundromat RIGHT next to the hostel so it's very convenient to do your laundry there. I'd definitely come back when going to Ao Nang.

BOHO Hostel se găsește în Ko Lanta, la 2 km de Plaja Kaw Kwang, și oferă o terasă, un bar și vedere la mare. What I liked the most is the atmosphere when I stay at the terrace above the sea. I was feeling so relaxed, no matter drinking my coffee in the morning or having a beer in the evening. The owners are very nice people and we had a lot of chatting with them. The place is clean and tidy, also having the vibe that a hostel should have. The location is great, having restaurants around, dive shops and a motorbike rental just beside. I was in the beginning of the season and there weren't much people but still I met some nice folks there.

The hostel is beautiful. Very nice community area wirh bean bags and tables, the rooms are very clean, 2 min away from the beach and good restaurants, the staff is super friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay at Happiness Hostel. The beds are spacious and comfortable, ac works well and location is good. The staff is very kind and always available to help. Best thing about the hostel is the resident cat Fatty. He’s a vibe.

This is a hut on the beach, not a luxury hotel room. So keep your expectations in check and enjoy an incredible value in one of the best locations one can imagine. The owner and staff of the property will ensure that you have all you need. Plenty of options for food and drink (also and incredible value) just steps from the property mean you never have to go far from the resort. Boogie Bay Bar has a great happy hour from 5-7pm and live music some nights, Ina's German and Thai Restaurant (I believe she is closed for part of the off season) has great food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and much more a little farther down the beach!

I would give it 11/10 if I could. The lady who runs it is so kind and friendly. On the first day the hot water heater for the shower broke, and she got it replaced within 2 hours. The service was very good. The room was very clean! Probably one of the cleanest places I stayed during my time backpacking in thailand. It is a 7 minute walk to the beach and there are a ton of well priced restaurants within walking distance. There are also many bike rental places close by so that you can explore the island. This place is such a good price for what you get, it feels like having your own little oasis. She also had beach towels for us to use, and umbrellas for the rain.
