Contrary to other reviews, the room is quite soundproofed. The café downstairs is very convenient and lively. They serve brunch on the week-ends (not included $), which was great as breakfast options are sometimes limited (especially on Sundays when everything is closed).

A beautiful spacious room, with a big bed; even the en-suite bathroom was big. The large terrace was ideal for enjoying the views over the bay. Being a hostel, there was even a small shared kitchen we could use on the floor above. Sandra, who looks after the hostel seems lovely. She does everything.

At Farol Guesthouse the rooms are equipped with a desk and a flat-screen TV. Everything was great. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The room and private bathroom were great and the common areas (kitchen and terrace) were Amazing. Breakfast was included and very generous.

Staff super friendly and helpful- the Google map with tips was such a nice touch.
