Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. The staff were so friendly and the cafe and restaurant were wonderful! The beds were also super comfortable.

Incredibly clean! Super safe and easy to get to. Use of bikes a plus. Perfect view of Mt Fuji from the relaxing terrace. Everything great!

Set in Fujikawaguchiko, less than 1 km from Lake Kawaguchi, HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Place is very clean, owner speaks English and is very helpful and considerate. The dormitory has 12 people capacity but it is not fully used on purpose, in order to keep the place comfortable for all guests. The Mt Fuji view from the shared space/garden is spectacular in the morning, on a clear day (see my pic). Hostel is located in a quite neighborhood a bit out of the tourist attractions, 15-20 minutes walk from the bridge. I stayed there for two nights and rented a bike for 2 days so I can ride back to the hostel. Would definitely stay again.

High scale hostel with great atmosphere, common areas are pleasant and inviting. We stayed in the family room with private balcony and the view of Mt. Fuji was stunning. Sitting at night having a drink with the mountain view is priceless. The family room is really spacious and spotless clean. The common kitchen is exceptionally equipped, and they offer free fresh brewed coffee every morning. A collection of updated travel books in the dining room are useful.

Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. The host was amazing, being so nice and caring with us, as well as helping us plan the trip. Great location, very good breakfast and very comfy beds. I strongly recommend.

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. The hostel is really taken care of, especially for the design and people that are working there! I liked all the details of the place and their café where to have breakfast.

A mere 10-minute drive from the Fujikyu Highland amusement park, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel offers private Japanese-style rooms, free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Coin-operated laundry facilities are on-site. Really friendly host! Would reccomend.

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 2.2 km from Fuji-Q Highland, TOCORO. Mt.Fuji Station HOSTEL Kawaguchiko features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Everything was perfect. The location was ideal, room amd facilities were clean and tidy and value for it all was great. I would definitely recommend staying here. Do note there are steep stairs up to the rooms if you have large suitcases.
