Tashila Hostel bevindt zich in Gangtok, op 1,6 km van stadion Palzor, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The place is super spacious, I felt like I was staying in a villa. There’s a balcony with seating, a big couch with a TV in the living room, an upstairs balcony with lounge chair and an upstairs common room. If I had more time I would have hung out here for a while. They even have a working space (and good wifi) which makes it the ideal spot to chill out. The owner and his staff are super friendly and made me feel right at home. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, they helped me with anything and everything I’d need and answered every question. Whenever I’d go out they’d help arrange transportation and make sure I get a fair price. The beds are super comfy and the rooms have a very homely feel to it. The whole place is spic and span, very tidy and clean, and the included breakfast is simple but delicious. They make a killer toast! Opt to take dinner with them in the evening, they’re really good cooks! Definitely recommend staying here!

Mochilero Ostello heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Pelling. I could see the dim outline of Kanchenjunga, not the clear view because it was hazy. Personally it was still good. Anyway April was not the right time to see the clear view. Michilero(backpacker in Spanish) Ostello(hostel in Italian) was a great place to stay in Pelling. Everything - home made food, family atmosphere  - was perfect. And Wake in Himalayas, the hostel next to Mochilero Ostello, was also a nice place run by warm hearted family.

Zemu Gangtok ligt in Gangtok, op 12 minuten lopen van Namgyal-Instituut voor Tibetologie, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The staff was very nice and friendly and they will try to help you in every possible way. The food was also value for money

Mellow Fellow Hostel heeft een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en een bar in Gangtok. Naast een conciërgedienst beschikt over deze accommodatie ook een casino. Great location, awesome staff members, nice common room.

Tag Along Backpackers ligt in Gangtok, op 19 minuten lopen van stadion Palzor en 2 km van klooster Enchey, en is voorzien van gratis fietsen en kamers met gratis WiFi. The best part of this hostel is the staff, the vibe and the community, which centers around the cafe. The cafe is a great place to meet people. The staff is engaged and organizes great outings. Most importantly, the owners and most staff are engaged in the local community and are super knowledgeable. Tag Along and Tag Along 2.0 were my best hostel experiences in 5 months in India, and are a model of what hostels should be.

Zostel Rinchenpong (Pelling) bevindt zich in Rinchingpong en heeft een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Er is een Indiaas restaurant en er is gratis privéparkeren. The place is just amazing. Very peaceful.
