Very nice staff who welcomed us warmly. They gave us tips on where to eat and where to go. The private room with private bathroom was comfortable and clean. It is a nice location to recharge before exploring east Java (Tumpak Sewu waterfall, Bromo and Ijen volcanos...).

Need a stay in Benyuwangi? This Hostel is a must for every backpacker! Ana and her Husband are absolutely amazing! Never met such a beautiful soul. Her English is outstanding and they help you with EVERYTHING you need. There is a kitchen so you can prepare porridge or rice etc and the location is great with cheap and good restaurants and a supermarket close to it. Very clean and air-conditioning available. You can also book the tours to Ijen and Mount Bromo as well as other places with them. However, I have some comments on the tours.
Great hostel! Only stayed there for a few hours before doing the 1D Bromo tour. Very clean and comfy! Bathroom was clean. Staff very friendly and tour guide really good. Great location closed to the coloured villages.
The Snooze Hostel is probably the best hostel I have booked in terms of friendliness and service. The team takes care of every need and is so warm and welcoming. The rooms are completely cleaned every two days. The Snooze Hostel also offers tours which are really great. Transportation can also be organized if needed. I can only highly recommend the hostel.
Everything, from the friendly staff, absolute cleanliness and comfort, and all the services and information (about Ijen, scooter rental, great restaurants, ferries to Bali, etc.) they provide is perfect. This is by far the best hostel I've stayed at in a long, long time and I can't recommend it enough.
This hostel is perfect. The staff are super warm, friendly, and welcoming. You feel so comfortable with them and they’re always wanting to help out. The rooms are very comfortable and absolutely spotless. They clean multiple times a day. The kitchen is huge and well equipped and there are many comfortable social areas to hang out in. Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in and for sure not to be missed when travelling through Malang.
The host is so friendly and helpful! Nice and clean bunkbeds, really comfy! The tour to the Ijen, which you can book directly at the hostel is so cheap and well organized. Location directly at the trainstation and the port. Also the host organized a cheap busride to bromo for us :) Try the breakfast, it is really good! Would totally recommend!
The hostel is spotless clean and you feel at home the minute you enter. We loved the design and the staff, everything is well organised. Join their morning run, it is soo much fun!!! One of the best hostels I've ever been to. It is super clean, even in the dormitory has my privacy but can still connect super with others if you want. Above all, it is super cozy here so that you feel like home and already looking forward to sleep. The hostel owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped me incredibly when I could not writerreisrn because the bus did not come. They drove me to the bus station and supported me, which I would have had a hard time doing without them. The hostel has a great location. It's close to the train station (you can walk), it's a quiet and safe location and there is a travel agency at the hostel so you can book a tour to Bromo and Ijen. The dorm is spacious, the beds are very comfortable! The curtains provide privacy, you have a locker, you can put/hang your clothes and the bathrooms are very clean! The shower is hot and good! You can order food and drinks and chill/talk with other travelers.
