Boasting a shared lounge and free WiFi, Cocoon City Hostel is set in Chania Town. The property is close to Mitropoleos Square, Municipal Art Gallery of Chania and Historical Museum of Chania. The accommodation features a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Its in the center, thats great and they give you towels!

The hostel will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms offering a desk, a coffee machine, a fridge, an oven, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a shared bathroom with a shower. Guest rooms include bed linen. This was a last minute booking due to a missed flight and last minute rearrangments. I literally only stayed for the night but I am disappointed I could not stay for longer. It is located so close to the airport, take advantage of the taxi booking through the hostel (I was scammed by a driver at the airport). The staff are lovely, the animals are friendly and the bar is open late. I would consider booking here if I go back to Crete.

All bunk beds in Chania Hostel Youth dormitory rooms are comfortable. Each unit has views over the town or the garden. A shared bathroom with toiletries comes standard. Lovely friendly hosts, very clean, nice garden, nice area, up the road from a swim.

The property is around 6 km from The Palace of Knossos, 18 km from Cretaquarium Thalassocosmos and 400 metres from Morosini Fountain. Rooms have a patio with garden views and free WiFi. Perfect location to visit the city of Heraklion, everything you need is within 5min walking distance including shops, tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, etc... Airport is only 15-20min away and is easily reachable by bus Super friendly and dedicated host -  interacting with the host is already worth the visit! There is also a restaurant onsite serving tasty traditional local meals (must try)

So Young Hostel is situated in Heraklio Town, a 4-minute walk from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 400 metres from Venetian Walls. Popular points of interest around the property include Municipal Museum of the Battle of Crete and the National Resistance and Koules. Attractions in the area include The Minoan Palace of Knossos, 5 km away. Central location. The place is my favorite hostel so far. Nice rooftop. Clean, new, I feel comfortable as all the facilities clearly look cared for.

Matala Hostel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Matala. The property is set less than 1 km from Matala beach, a 19-minute walk from Red Sand Beach and 2.5 km from Kommos Beach. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. Clean hostel with nice and helpful staff! It has a lovely swimming pool, where you can relax on hot afternoons. Matala beach is very nice, with interesting caves that you can also visit. You can do a 30 min hike to Red beach, which is amazing!

Located in Pitsidia and within 2.1 km of Kommos Beach, Sofia rooms features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is situated 2.5 km from Kalamaki Beach, 7.6 km from Phaistos and 11 km from Museum of Cretan Ethnology. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available.

At the hostel each room is fitted with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Beautiful place, nice and quiet. Sofia is amazing host, very friendly and helpful. Very delicious homemade cake was waiting for us in the room😍

Intra Muros Hostel offers a communal kitchen and shared bathrooms. Some dormitory rooms open to a balcony with city views. A shared coffee machine is also available. It is a spacious building, with showers for ladies only, with wide enough beds (with curtains, for privacy). There is a common room with TV and books, some games as well. The kitchen is well-equipped. Some people did cook. There is a fridge, too. The Minas Church and the bus stop are 1-2 minutes away, on foot. You can take the bus from the airport, and it drops you really near the accommodation. Then, the city centre is within walking distance. The bus can take you, conveniently, to Knossos and other places.

At the hostel, each room is fitted with a balcony. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Pension Patelo also boast a sea view. At the accommodation rooms have bed linen and towels. Beautiful horizon view from the hill. Every morning I woke up with the sea view and every evening I ended the day with the view of the sunset. Marina was very kind, very available and flexible
