Less than 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Penrith, Wayfarers Independent Hostel provides comfortable accommodation to Lake District visitors. Super nice! Best hostel so far. The facilities are great, the hosts are humble and super friendly. Facilities have most things you need, medium sozed rooms, lockers, and the beds are very comfy. Also great location! Located in Thirlmere, Fisher-gill Camping Barn offers free onsite parking and a terrace. Charming barn converted to a bunk house. Bed was comfy and and the location is great for walking. Facilities have everything you need to rest and prep for a days walking including a well equipped kitchen for storing and preparing food.
