Las Huellas de Cameros features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Soto en Cameros. An amazing, quiet location. Just what we were looking for. They offer both food service and a self-catering kitchen. We went for a random walk and discovered the trail leading to 2 dinosaur footprint locations. About 2 hours return from the lodge. Cross over the river and head up towards the old church. A fairly flat path with great views following the contours of the mountains. We did it with closed sandals.

Albergue Buen Camino is set in Navarrete, within 13 km of La Rioja Museum and 13 km of Co-Cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda. Easy to continue the Camino after a good rest . I booked the single double bed room and the bed was so so so comfortable. Carrefour express is a few mins away and you may use the kitchen to cook something simple if you want to .
