A few days before my stay, a review said that lights above each bed would be helpful - during my stay, about 3 days later, the owners had added a light to every bed. This attention to detail is what has made this hostel so good - espresso machine and dishwasher in the kitchen, a small shelf, socket and clothes hooks at each bed etc.

What a beautiful place to disconnect a little bit from the world and be surrounded by beautifull nature and friendly people! for me.. so far, the most amazing spot in la Palma! Be prepared though.. there is no shop in the little town, so unless you have a car and can go around, bring everything to eat! On the weekends, from Friday to Monday there is 1 little restaurant nearby that is open, but to eat you have to make reservations. But even during the week..I would really recommend to go and visit el tablado!

A nice village with good restaurants, supermarket, close to lots of hiking and a trail which leads to the coast with natural swimming pool. Great place to use as a base to explore the north. I'll be back. Very helpful friendly staff
