The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the property. The owner and his staff were super friendly and accommodating. The dinner buffet and dining hall were nice touches. Just a short drive from Gstaad as well, the location was great! The building and furnishings are also maintained really well!

The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. There’s so much common space, each with its own function — huge kitchen, plenty of lockers, garden, work space, and lots of nooks.

At the hostel, each room is fitted with a desk, bed linen and a balcony with a garden view. Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Walters Hostel Interlaken also offer a mountain view. Guest rooms include a safety deposit box. The room was super spacious and very comfortable bed. Room was equipped with wireless charging, usb-c and usb-a ports, plus Google home. Marcel is super welcoming and is always doing improvements to make guests stay more comfortable (he changed a perfectly working shower head to one with filter). Breakfast (8CHF per person) was super generous with the amount of food you get and was absolutely delicious! Located in a quiet neighbour close to supermarkets and 10 minutes walk from the train station.
Interlaken
Situated in Interlaken, 20 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Adventure Hostel Interlaken features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a terrace and a bar. The property is allergy-free and is set 23 km from Giessbachfälle. It’s simple, but comfy! And I had a beautiful window view! Friendly receptionists. The location is really good, easy to go even by walking from the train station.

Right next to Interlaken Ost Train Station, Youth Hostel Interlaken is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a snack bar.
Surrounded by a park, Youth Hostel Interlaken features table tennis and billiards. There is also a bike rental service, and the Aare Cycle Route starts nearby.
The staffs are really nice, always get a quick response for luggage storage and even can rent an adapter to me.

All of the simply-furnished rooms feature bunk beds. There is a shared lounge and fully equipped kitchen for guests to use. The shared bathrooms are accessible via a covered corridor. Firewood is provided for cooking over camp fires by the river. Place was beautiful and clean, we loved it.

Can't fault this place. Definitely one of if not the best hostel I've stayed in. Clean facilities, comfy bedding, two types of charging ports near the bed swiss and European which suited me as I only had European. Good laundry facilities 10 CHF for wash and dry is free and the building was just lovely. Lots of places to chill sit, indoors and out and free locker storage on day of arrival and departure downstairs. I will be coming back here.
Ignore other reviews, if you are here for an authentic budget backpacking experience look no further. This hostel is in a beautiful classic building, has amazing friendly and fun staff who went out of their way to add to our trip, great late night vibes and the lobby is even home to a lovely big St Bernard named Kai.
It was probably the cheapest hostel is a great location with a very eclectic atmosphere. Its hostel as well as a hotel I think. The building is definitely old so it has a lot of interesting character.
It's a backpacker's + bar concept, everything is well-organized, not chaotic. Close to main train station, closer to a bus station which gives you access to everywhere else using the bus. Cleanliness is top for a backpacker's, and the reception staff is very helpful if you need recommendation around the area. Self-help kitchen is well-equipped and there's plenty of locker in the room if you'd like to keep your thing safe. With the price tag, it is well worth it!
This is the most unbelievable hostel that you will ever stay in. It is absolutely beautiful and pristinely queen and in a great location. Don't be tempted to stay like over by the shops because that's kind of a terrible area this is over where there are mansions and it's easily walkable from the train station. Also they give you a bus card for free anyway but anyone could walk it it's like 5 minutes. The rooms are great the breakfast area is great the view is great it's just amazing
This Lodge is like a hostel with a share kitchen. I don't recommend it for a family with children, more suitable for budget option seeking pairs and groups.

The hostel is in a great location in the centre of interlaken. A 5 minute walk from shops and restraunts. Free travel on local buses and close to 2 railway stations.
Perhaps the cheapest youth hostel in Interlaken. You get what you pay for. Everything was perfect, the room was clean and also the sharing toilette and bad room. If you are hungry, just go down the stairs because it is a bar. And very close to the Interlaken West train station. After that, the supermarket and a lot of restaurants were nearby. What I found maybe a bit annoying was the squeaking of the wooden floor (I think, because it is an old building).
