Set in Interlaken, 1.3 km from Interlaken East Port, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. I'm not a fan of hostels, but when travelling to Switzerland you don't get much choice with the high prices. The rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Big size lockers available on the rooms, secured with a card key so you don't have to worry about bringing your own lock. Location is great, near both train stations in Interlaken, plus the hostel gives you a free bus ticket to reach the accomodation.

At the hostel, each room is fitted with a desk, bed linen and a balcony with a garden view. Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Walters Hostel Interlaken also offer a mountain view. Guest rooms include a safety deposit box. The shared kitchen and enough utensils for our basic cooking we used all week. The room felt homely and staff was very welcoming on our first day at Interlaken.

In a remote location at 1,400 metres above sea level, Bärghuus Axalp offers direct access to the ski slopes. Rooms come with free WiFi and wooden furniture. The guest house features a shared-use kitchen and a common living room which features a TV. host was amazingly cordial,cheerful,loving.at first we were dissappointed as axalp was in a high area and oly ony on bus was there,but when we arrived we loved that place.

Youth Hostel Brienz is located on the banks of Lake Brienz, a scenic 15-minute walk from the Brienz Train Station. The hostel serves a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, available on the terrace overlooking the lake. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The hostel is right on the lake and offers the most incredible views! It’s just a 10 min walk or 2 min bus ride to the train station and a 20 min train ride to Interlaken which was perfect. I was glad to be away from the tourists downtown. Everything is updated since it’s a newer hostel and the breakfast was absolutely incredible! Sara made us feel so welcome and helped accommodate any requests. Highly recommend staying here!
