It is located 3.5 km from Temple of the Emerald Buddha and provides luggage storage space. The guest house features family rooms. This is my fourth or fifth stay at Sri Ayutthaya Guesthouse, and it was as wonderful as ever - maybe even better, with the addition of a water kettle in the room. Also, the delightful owner, Jay, advised me that they will refill water bottles, something I wish all guesthouses did. Quiet, clean and comfortable - a real delight and oasis when I’m passing through Bangkok.
Bangkok Yai, Bangkok
The units are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fridge, a kettle, a shower, slippers and a desk. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. At the homestay, all units include a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. The host arranges us a taxi from the airport and it was a relief seeing someone holding our names at the airport since we landed midnight. And even we arrived so late, she was waiting for us and kindly escorted to our room with welcome drinks and desserts. She was attentive all the time and made sure everything was fine during our stay. Even sent us surrounding recommended places to visit which helped us a lot. And oh my god, the Wat Arun view is spectacular! I was amazed by the view every time i see it. Location was great too. Wat Arun was just in a walking distance from the place and Wat Pho was just across the river. The room was decorated with beautiful pictures which gave good vibes and it was obvious that she dedicated every small details to make sure the guests have great stay. Indeed, we had amazing stay there and i would recommend it to anyone who is coming to Bangkok.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 7 km from Chatuchak Weekend Market, and guests can benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. The owner was very helpful, he gave us everything to cook our own food and helped with every question. There were no other guests at that time, so we had whole house with the kitchen and living room just for ourselves for the price of a hostel bed. Really good place, highly recommended.

Great location with friendly staff. Very clean and beds were comfortable and private with two curtains. Breakfast was yummy. Great hostel to stay at in Bangkok.
Great hostel to stay in a more quiet neighbourhood, however close to MRT and with cafe and places to eat nearby. Nice common area to work or relax. Clean rooms and enough space in restroom. Nice staff. Will come back :)
Perfect for an overnight stay near the airport. Literally a 5/10 minute walk from the metro line or for early flights like mine it cost me 100baht to get to the airport. There was an abundance of taxis waiting to pick up along the road. Lovely hostess who made me feel at home, the room was lovely with aircon and good wifi. Separate bathroom with great shower.
Lovely hostel with hotel rooms!
This is a great hostel in Bangkok! The location is great, in a nice neighbourhood (close to Wat Po and the Royal Palace) and only a 15 minute walk to Khao San Road. The metrostation is only a 10 minute walk. The facilities where perfect, the airconditioning in the room was great (and is on the entire day) and there is even a rooftop where you can relax/enjoy the views. The staff is very friendly and the pool is a nice place to cool down :). Even the cafe is really nice, and has good coffee!
Sutachada the owner is super helpful, makes sure you have everything you need, helps with where to go, how to get there etc, real personal touch. The rooms are new, clean, great aircon and the view of Wat Arun alone is worth the cost of stay which was already super reasonable, the area is also great to walk around and get a real feel of how locals live in Bangkok. 100% recommended 🙏
Annie is a great host and super helpful with useful travel information from her special folder. Responsive when needs arose. Only 5-6 rooms so it’s cozy like a home away from home, and shared kitchen is well-equipped but not busy. Location worked for me: Away from the main tourist crowd but just a few stops away on Sky Train so no traffic to deal with and only 2min walk to station. Also it’s a real neighbourhood so loads of street food where locals get their daily meals - super authentic.
Traditional home stay in teak house on the river. Family seafood restaurant. Good Thai breakfast. It's a bit difficult to find and you can wander through the market to the ferry stop. Very quiet area alongside the wat. Old teak house with the water lapping underneath. Not much English spoken and you have to walk over a rickety bridge then there's orchids flowering and old rickshaws. Simple rooms, homestay style.
The Centre Point Silom is the BEST hotel I stayed at in my entire life. the rooms are classy and elegant and bigger than some private homes and the view from the window is just breathtaking. the staff is incredibly polite and helpful and the breakfast caters to all tastes and preferences. from all of us (familiy with 2 teenage kids) a wholehearted "Exceptional"! i will return there every single time i will come back to Bangkok.
