We arrived late in the night due to a last minute cancelling at the Airport of Funchal. We were welcomed with great warmth. The ambiance there was very cosy and pleasant, and so were the people. Definitely to recommend!

Imagine a corner of paradise and you will think of something very similar to Casa Da Piedade: a facility surrounded by nature, with a wonderful pool overlooking palm trees and mountains, with very clean rooms, equipped with everything you need (e.g., hair dryer, fully functioning hot water and heating) and furnished with impeccable style. The fantastic staff will make you feel super welcome and pampered (on arrival we found a free gift of Bolo do Caco and Madeira waiting for us in our room) and when you wake up you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast in one of the bright common room. If I were to return to Madeira I would definitely come back here and I definitely recommend it! Thank you 🥰

The room was very nice, the kitchen made me feel like home, and the balcony is perfect to watch the sunset!

The Goat's Place provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 2.9 km of Palmeiras Beach and 15 km of Marina do Funchal. It is located 26 km from Santana's traditional houses and features a shared kitchen. The homestay offers sea views and a sun terrace. As a couple we spend five days at this place and it had exceded our expectations. Especially Antonio en Jorge were best hosts we have had on Madeira. They offered us every morning fresh baked bread,green salad and eggs from their garden. As I have had birthday,Jorge made for us a traditional cake! Highly recommended.

In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. A beautifully decorated room with balcony and private bathroom. A wonderful friendly host. Complimentary kettle and coffee sachets. Outstanding View and beautiful swimming pool. Very comfortable bed . Freshly baked biscuits and wonderful Coffee in the morning. Everything was simply wonderful.

Good location to go to other parts of the island and enough restaurants/bars/supermarket close by!

The nearest airport is Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport, 19 km from Edificio Charles 202. -The hotel is located in the center of Funchal (the balcony opens the view to the church "Cathedral do Funchal" with the bell ringing each 15 minutes which is amazing, a huge number of restaurants/shops, also there is Funchal Cable Car that can take you to the botanical garden of Funchal) -The room was very clean and with everything that you need (water/tea/coffee/plates/glasses/etc), even dotted with hotel slippers and iron. -The bathroom is very clean. -The check-in process was very simple (fill the form via internet website and you get a message with the code to the room; no need to wait for the staff to do the check-in/check-out process) -If you need parking, there are two parking places in <5 minutes walk-by that cost 4 euros per 24 hours (we used Santa Luzia Parking).

The property has sea and pool views, and is 1.3 km from Formosa Beach. The guest house features family rooms. Honestly at first, I was a bit taken aback that there is no staff on site and that it was more of a house/Airbnb type than a hotel. However, it turned out to be AMAZING. I made this purchase DAY OF because of a very stressful last minute change to my trip, and this place was just what I needed to unwind and relax. Everything was super clean, and safe, and the facilities were just wonderful. I also talked with the cleaning lady the next day and she was super sweet. There were mango trees dropping fruit on the property, and all in all it was just magical. Free protected parking and everything. I felt completely safe there. There’s also a grocery store like a 5 min walk away if you want to go pick things up to cook (as well as many eateries).
