A good location for a relaxing holiday in Palomino, Jaba Jan Hostal is a guest house surrounded by views of the river. My favourite hostel in 5 months of travelling! Very kind staff - super helpful, warm, friendly and welcoming. Great food, lovely common areas, beautiful private beaches. Best value for money - wish I could of stayed longer in this beautiful place. 100% recommend to everyone.

Featuring quiet street views, Donama River features accommodation with balcony, around 1.2 km from Palomino Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The place and the views as well as it’s central location. The staff was very good and special with our stay, cleanliness and food that was catered for us. Hamacas and places to relax. Easy to get from main road and one block from the roads that go to the beach. Can take around 20 mins walk to the beach or 10 minute moto ride. We extended our stay.

Boasting garden views, Jui Chi MaMa provides accommodation with a garden, around 2.4 km from Palomino Beach. I really recommend staying at Jui Chi MaMa. The hostel itself is very clean and comfortable with a beautiful and calm garden. However I found there more than just a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The owners have a great knowlege of the Palomino, it's history and the indegineus people who live around there. German also took us birdwatching - I recommend to you this activity with him, he knows a lot about the birds in Palomino and he is a great guide. Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of inner courtyard, Casa Zaida Hostal Vintage is set in Ríohacha, 800 metres from Playa de Riohacha. Everything! You stay with Luis and his grandmother Zaida. Unfortunately we don't speak a lot of Spanish (yet), but Luis speaks English and can translate. They let us park our rental car at their house while we visited Cabo de la Vela. They really took care of us. The location is perfect. Just a short walk from a lot of small shops, the ocean and some nice restaurants.

Boasting garden views, Hostal Nibuni Palomino features accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, around less than 1 km from Palomino Beach. Relaxing vibe close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away from the business of the beach and town! Good value for money with a nice pool and breakfast. Owner was very kind and accommodating; he made us tea when we were unwell and organised the delivery of an item I had left in the room from Palomino to Santa Marta. Highly recommend!

Offering a lovely garden/chill out area and views of the mountain, Bella Flor Hostel Palomino is situated in Palomino, halfway between the beach and the main drive. The homey feel of it all. Everyone was incredibly kind.

Fantastic spot where to disconnect from absolutely everything. No luxury place, but best to connect with a strong ocean and forget about the world even though you are 5 mins from Palomino.
