Combined seating, dining area and fullly equipped kitchen. Nice welcome pack (milk, wine, biscuits, bread, jams, tea, coffee, etc.). Second floor bedroom and bijou bathroom and toilet. Small garden and seating area in front of the cottage. Positioned in a farming environment with beautiful views over the dales. Green fields and meadows boarded with ancient dry stone walling. Waking distance to the local village 10 min. walk. Recommend the pub. Nice place to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. We would happily return!

Situated in Wirksworth, in a historic building, 24 km from Chatsworth House, The Tenth House, Grade II Listed Georgian Town House, Wirksworth, Derbyshire, Peak District Cottage, Sleeps 4 is a holiday... Lovely house in a lovely area. Helpful hosts provided a useful information document before my stay which I really appreciated. Lots of nice touches around the place, including a record player. Great place to relax for a few days. Bus stop 5 minutes walk away.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, the host was fabulous and very welcoming, they went above and beyond our expectations to accomodate me and my bridesmaids the night before my wedding!

Loved the location. Lovely clean cottage. Lovely big bath. Everything you need. Martin and Sarah were lovely and made sure everything was top notch.

Barlow Country Club - Mill Farm Cottages, a property with a garden, is located in Dronfield, 15 km from Chatsworth House, 18 km from FlyDSA Arena, as well as 36 km from Buxton Opera House. Beautifully furnished. Large comfortable beds, good for tall adults. All 3 bedrooms were good and no-one would feel they were short-changed. Dog walking from the cottage - on-lead in the fishing club area but access to footpaths outside this area where off-lead is acceptable Countryside code permitting. Good pubs nearby but also good equipment and storage in kitchen to make own meals (large fridge freezer, range cooker, good knives.)

Knockerdown Cottages is set in Ashbourne and features a heated pool and garden views. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Stunning location and surrounding garden and courtyard. Serene views and atmosphere. The cottage itself was beautifully designed and appointed. Very comfortable beds. Convenient small kitchen area. Good shower. Fantastic swimming pool and games room. Pub just across the road. Altogether a paradise - I didn't want to leave and I would love to go back.

Set in Saddleworth, in a historic building, 15 km from Clayton Hall Museum, The Cottage, Grotton Hall, Lydgate, Saddleworth is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. The location was great because it is next to Grotton Hall and is located through some gates behind a wall, away from the main road. It's also close to most amenities in Lydgate and everything such as pubs and supermarkets are easy to get to. Great for a hiking weekend too as the North Peak District isn't far away.

Cottage Retreat near Peak District and Chatsworth House is situated in Tansley near Matlock. Chatsworth House and The Peak District National Park are close to the house. fantastic space, peace and quiet and very value for money.
