It was my first experience sleeping on traditional Korean bedding, so that was fun. My hosts were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area in a way that it made it much easier to plan my sightseeing. The location was fantastic. The host introduced me to another guest who had access to a car. She kindly agreed to let me tag along during her sightseeing. As a result I was able to see things I would not have been able to visit if left to my own devices. If I ever return to the area I will definitely be returning to this inn

Wolyeongchae consists of 4 rooms, 2 internal bathrooms, 1 external bathroom, a shared kitchen, and a shared living room. This is an actual old house, or hanok, of classic Korean heritage. How can it get any cooler than that? It was really cute and got these vibes like you're actually in the countryside as a kid, but for some reason you're a Korean kid. Bed was nice, the host is stellar. Just the best. She was in contact with us the whole time and gave us a lot of instructions to find her home, which is tucked away inside an old town, but is really just a throw away from a bus stop.

Walking distance to cultural sites and shops and restaurants. Near to stay in an authentic hanok in Korea. It was nice that water, drinks and snacks were provided.

Nice rooms in a marvelous looking hanok. It is very comfy and clean. Bed is large and nice. Bathroom is great. View from the room is beautiful The landlady is very kind and helpful. Will come again.

House of Tohyang is a traditional Hanok, Korean traditional residential architecture, dating back to 1876. The house is set in Bongwha, 1.3 km from Bonghwa Station. We loved our stay in Tohyang House. The host is super friendly and brought us delicious mandu for breakfast :) We traveled with friends in a group of four (two couples) and stayed in a house with two sleeping rooms and bathrooms. We are very happy that we stayed in this Korean Hanok with beautiful gardens ! It is a quiet environment (you can hear nature), which we really enjoyed after a week in the buzzing city of Seoul. With a car you can discover some of the beautiful hiking trails in the broader area.

Situated within 10 km of Gyeongju World and 22 km of Seokguram in Gyeongju, Hanok 1st Street offers accommodation with seating area. It is set 1.3 km from Cheomseongdae and provides a shared kitchen. A very neat and clean facility within walking distance to the historic old town and at the same time in a quiet, almost rural area. The room is very basic and your back might hurt if you're not used to sleeping on the floor, but that's the whole point of making this experience ;) You also get a breakfast, so that was a nice bonus.
