The family owned bed and breakfast is 3 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 13 km from Connemara National Park. The harbour is a 5-minute walk away. Absolutely loved our stay there! The owner is lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. We would stay here again.

Kindness staff, breakfast excellent, cleanliness excellent.

Apartments are self-catering (no meals included) and have separate entrances, comfortable living areas with TV and fireplace. Each bedroom has a private shower room with personal toiletries, towels etc. All bedrooms have good storage, excellent beds - fully dressed, tv, hairdryer etc. The fully equipped kitchens have cookers, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine, all utensils etc and washer-dryers. On arrival you will find tea/coffee, fresh milk, juice, cereals, condiments and homemade brown bread and cake. Everything was super clean & the breakfast was delicious. The owners were extremely friendly.

The real bonus in extremely wet weather was having a comfortable well furnished lounge in addition to our lovely room.

The Portfinn Lodge is set in landscaped gardens with free WiFi in the relaxing guest lounge. The en suite rooms boast views of the sea or mountains. The view of the room was exeptional. We could see the fjord from our bed! Clean and tidy.
