Hostal La Florida is located in Llançà, on the Costa Brava. This property offers smart, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, a TV and a private bathroom. Hostal La Florida is a real gem. This was my second visit. Spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. Good breakfast buffet which we ate in the garden area. Room was cleaned and tidied each morning.

Hostalet dels indians Guest house is set in the centre of Begur. This colonial house dates from 1866 and features charming rooms and a shared lounge with a fireplace. We spent 4 nights in this delightful and elegant hostalet, hosted by wonderful Antonia, Alexis and Franc. The rooms were large, spotlessly clean, stylish and we especially loved the large private balcony. I had a tummy issue and could not have been cared for better. Herbal teas, complete bed changes, special food and lots of enquiring of what else they could do. Sadly I missed out on the extremely generous breakfasts, which were served in the garden area. My loss. 6 types of fresh fruit along with high quality local fare and even a small local sweet white wine! Franc’s cocktails also deserve a mention, served in the oasis away from the bustle. Highly recommended!

The family-run Hostal Julieta is centrally located 10 minutes’ walk from Lloret de Mar Beach. It features a rooftop sun terrace and 24-hour reception. Staff was really frendly and great. The room was big and the bathroom New. Breakfast was simple but good.

Situated in Vall-Llobrega and only 31 km from Medes Islands Marine Reserve, Villa Sotavent features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Sweet couple! They run a lovely vila: calm, clean, well maintained, full of flowers, beautiful views. We stayed just for one night, but it's ideal for longer periods, with a swimming pool, easy access and parking space and close to all the beach towns in the area. Extra points for the nice breakfast in the terrace.

Hostal el Ranxo offers accommodation in Cadaqués, 900 metres from Salvador Dali's House. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a private bathroom. The staff were really lovely and helpful, and it's the perfect location. Good price for a double room, which has AC and everything you need. Everything very clean and the nice ice cream out front is a bonus.
