Hotel Charlotte, guest house in Groveland

This historic old-west boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Groveland, CA is a short 30-minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park. Pine Mountain Lake is less than 5 minutes away. Hotel Charlotte has an in-house restaurant and bar, Charlotte's Tavern, serving lunch and dinner from 11-3 and 5-8:30. We have outdoor and balcony dining, too. Hotel Charlotte is surrounded by a variety of local eateries, shops, and coffee houses all within walking distance.

Wonderful historic building with lots of individual details & with very friendly owner. Cozy bar that belongs to the hotel. On the route to Yosemite, so ideal for tours to the park.

Located in the nearest village to Yosemite National Park, just 66 km drive away from the Yosemite entrance, the Yosemite International Hostel offers beds in dormitories and private rooms with free WiFi. Groveland shops are within 5 minutes’ walk away.

The rustic white house was better than expected. The vintage decorations give a unique, comfy and peaceful environment. It makes you feel like home. We stayed for one night and despite we arrived after the checkin time, host was very kind and explined us all the details. Clean bathrooms, well equiped kitchen and nice beds. Loved the flip flops detail to walk on the house. Excellent location from Yosemite Park. Thank you :)

    Charming building fantastic staff amazing food and a great location, we only stayed the one night and wish we could of stayed longer! Complimentary coffee and muffins in the morning set us up for a day out in Yosemite. I cannot stress how great the staff were, we were made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble.

    We stayed for 1 night to explore Yosemite and it was a comfortable cozy stay. It is just outside Groveland with a great location and great views. The property is lovely, the hosts were really nice and a delicious breakfast was served. We were really happy with our stay.

    No breakfast provided but the common area is well placed with the use of microwave and fridge and toaster. Very charming place with exceptional atmosphere and very friendly host/proprietor.

    Great location, off the road. Quiet - we saw a deer trot by the house. Spacious. Park right by the cabin. Good shower and a/c.

    A quaint and unique boutique hotel. The owners and staff were great. Very outgoing and helpful. The food was quite good and service was good. Location to the park was acceptable. Also, the road up to Groveland was an experience in itself and worth the trip.
