Exceptional staff, incredibly friendly. Kept very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds, and nicely kept bedrooms and shared facilities. Would definitely recommend if you don't mind sharing a bathroom - we had no problems as they are kept very clean and we could always use it whenever we needed to.

He was very helpful and knowledgeable for someone who has never travelled to Japan (or anywhere out of Australia for that matter!) made my first overseas hostel a great experience. Hisayo is very friendly and attentive, it was very nice to talk to her and to feel welcomed in her Inn. The location is great as it is very near the Haneda Airport and the check in time was until midnight so this was good since my flight arrived late in the evening. The place was really nice, clean, and comfy.

I love the core concept of this 'scattered hotel' that encourages guests to engage with the community. From the welcome walking tour of the neighborhood, to a detailed map and restaurant recommendations, to the tickets to the neighborhood bathhouse, I really felt anchored in a sense of place. Breakfast is in a separate building down the road. For a solo traveler, my tatami mat room and adjacent but private toilet (shared shower) were perfect. Neighborhood is lots of fun to explore, and the 'concierge' was so helpful, and warm, and responsive. Wonderful experience.
