You'll be able to experience a japanese housing neighbourhood outside of the bustling city. Host was very nice and ensure that the environment is comfortable for everyone. Host was able to converse english well and has a sense of humor. The ground floor is a good place for chat with other guests. Suitable for extroverts.

Location is convenient and quiet. A little small for 4 (as it’s Tokyo) but has everything. Clean! The host Kasuki sen is super nice and patient. Very helpful showing us around his community.

Exceptional staff, incredibly friendly. Kept very clean and tidy. Comfortable beds, and nicely kept bedrooms and shared facilities. Would definitely recommend if you don't mind sharing a bathroom - we had no problems as they are kept very clean and we could always use it whenever we needed to.

The owner, Satoshi, is a lovely person! He was very helpful and knowledgeable for someone who has never travelled to Japan (or anywhere out of Australia for that matter!) made my first overseas hostel a great experience. His English is great too! The other guests were also kind and easy to spend time with in the communal area, I think this place attracts nice people haha

Hisayo is very friendly and attentive, it was very nice to talk to her and to feel welcomed in her Inn. The location is great as it is very near the Haneda Airport and the check in time was until midnight so this was good since my flight arrived late in the evening. The place was really nice, clean, and comfy.

The hosts were wonderfully hospitable and the ryokan was beautiful and very comfortable. The Japanese garden was a special treat. An inspiring retreat from the hectic pace of Tokyo. Warmly recommended!

I love the core concept of this 'scattered hotel' that encourages guests to engage with the community. From the welcome walking tour of the neighborhood, to a detailed map and restaurant recommendations, to the tickets to the neighborhood bathhouse, I really felt anchored in a sense of place. Breakfast is in a separate building down the road. For a solo traveler, my tatami mat room and adjacent but private toilet (shared shower) were perfect. Neighborhood is lots of fun to explore, and the 'concierge' was so helpful, and warm, and responsive. Wonderful experience.

Best ever hostel in my opinion. Imagine you came to a strange city, and you are welcomed by a warm family in their house. The house have everything and more than just you basically needed it.
