The location is great as it is very near the Haneda Airport and the check in time was until midnight so this was good since my flight arrived late in the evening. I love the core concept of this 'scattered hotel' that encourages guests to engage with the community. From the welcome walking tour of the neighborhood, to a detailed map and restaurant recommendations, to the tickets to the neighborhood bathhouse, I really felt anchored in a sense of place. Breakfast is in a separate building down the road. For a solo traveler, my tatami mat room and adjacent but private toilet (shared shower) were perfect. Neighborhood is lots of fun to explore, and the 'concierge' was so helpful, and warm, and responsive. Wonderful experience.

Had an amazing experience at the guesthouse, and Isa-san was an amazing host. The dorm beds have sturdy wooden frames, which makes them way more comfortable. The atmosphere of the guesthouse was also very calm and friendly, and I got to meet some amazing people during my short stay. Will definitely book again next time I come to Tokyo!
