Great location, quiet, and with a very friendly hostess who spoke perfect English. The room was beautiful and well-appointed. Top-quality bed and linens (probably the most comfortable bed I've encountered in a b&b) and a gourmet, freshly prepared breakfast. Everything was so tasty -- cake, bread, yogurt, eggs/bacon, and French toast all amazing (I'm a glutton and could have eaten more)!

I was not familiar with the area and was trying to book something near the city center. However, despite the location, it was still a great place. There was parking, which is always good. The room was upstairs and the stairway was narrow, so be careful if you aren't good with stairs. The room was nice, and there was a fan - bonus!! The windows faced the street so it was a little loud with traffic, but once we laid down we fell asleep because we had walked all day. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic!! I would highly recommend Le Vivier - the price was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. But, make sure you bring a washcloth or soap sponge - that is something I found that most hotels do not have.
