I had an amazing time. When I first booked, I thought I might be spending a work vacation on the boat. However, I came to the conclusion that I needed to take advantage of the opportunity to just rest and relax. I did yoga, meditation, journaling, and went on long walks and bikes. The city is easily accessible by bike, but I spent most of my time out and around the dike, where it was calm and beautiful. The boat was quite comfortable, in my opinion. I slept extremely well, and I felt safe.

Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven in the well-equipped kitchenette. The tent also offers a barbecue. The safari tent is well equipped and comfortable. The facilities are great and the location ideal to visit the small towns of Endhuizen and Hoorn but also Amsterdam, Edam, Volendam etc. The tent on the side of the river under a greenhouse is really original and the open bathroom has a tropical flavour…. Kees, the owner was kind and very responsive- he gave us excellent info. We were also lucky to have the place to ourselves - a real luxury! The jacuzzi at night was so nice too.
