A perfect place to meet new people and to experience some tradition Tuscan culture. Breakfast was beyond my expectations, and I wish I was able to participate in more convivial dinners. Cristina is an excellent host and her staff goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home. A very reasonable driving distance from many great sights in Chianti and Cristina has great recommendations. I travelled alone, but this is a great place for families with small children.

My wife and I just came down from heaven. Absolutely everything was perfect. Simonetta was a host send from angels. Helpful, sweet and full of information and enhusiasm. The room was like in medivial castle,we felt like royals.Beds just how we like it. Peaceful, everyday sunset over Tuscany with Chianti wine made and cared by Giovanni and familly. And... everything around you is green. We cannot express our luck by choosing Podere Tegline as our four day vacation. Thank you Simonetta and Giovanni.

The owner drove us to the next town to get to a restaurant and then picked us up again when we were done. So sweet. We were able to put our bikes in a garage, which was locked overnight. Also the breakfast was so good. They served freshly baked cake and so much other delicious food. The view from our window was also very special. We watched the sunrise over the vineyards.

We had an amazing stay at Stella's and Eltore's place. Villa di Capovento is one of the best, if not the best, experiences I've had while travelling in my life. Everything from the facilities, the staff and the food were amazing and top quality. The only regret we have was not staying one more night, one was not enough to enjoy the wonderful place and hills of Castellina in Chianti. We want to give a huge thanks to Stella and Eltore for the treatment they gave us in our stay, from the spectacular wine tasting (with classical Chianti wines), the VERY tasty breakfast on the morning and, overall, the incredible way they treated us. If you are planning to spend a couple's romantic trip in Tuscany, in a quiet and peaceful place, you should look no further, Vila di Capovento is incredible. We cannot stress this enough!!

Alessandra was a delight! She was friendly, helpful with answering questions about the area and available for our needs. The room was beautiful comfortable and very clean. The grounds on property were beautiful, lush and green ,with flowers, olive trees and grapes. The location was peaceful and easy walking distance to little village. We got the breakfast which was extra but was well worth it. Alessandra set up our breakfast in the shared kitchen. We had espresso, fruit, yogurt and croissant. We enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.
