Do note that the room is small (only around 14 m2) but was sufficient for us, we were 2. The bathroom was still spacious and room had a king sized bed.

This boutique San Francisco hotel is less than 2 blocks from Union Square and the Powell Street and Market Street cable car line. Free WiFi is offered. Staff was super friendly and always ready to help. The room was spacious, with a very comfy bed & cute bathroom. There was free coffee & pastries every morning, which I didn't expect! And the location was right smack in the center + in front of a bus stop, so I could very easily walk/commute everywhere.

If I will come back to San Francisco, I will definitely come back to the White Swan: the position is great, the staff is kind and helpful, and the room is great (large room, fireplace in the room, comfortable bed, good breakfast, complimentary sodas in the room). The plus is definitely the complimentary wine tasting before dinner, together with cheese and grapes, a very nice idea to relax a little bit.
