Conveniently situated in the Yodogawa Ward district of Osaka, APA Hotel SHIN-OSAKA MINAMIKATA EKIMAE is set 1.1 km from Water Service Memorial Museum, less than 1 km from Shin-Osaka Marunouchi... Amazing stay! We visited when it was way below 0ºC in Osaka, so having such a comfortable and cosy room made our stay great. It even had a bathtub which, having travelled around Asia for a few months, we had desperately missed - incredible surprise! The room is very small (which didn't matter to us) so just be aware if you have lots of suitcases and bags. There is space for a good amount of luggage, we just wanted to make sure you're aware. The location is fantastic, just 10 minutes or so from Shin-Osaka station to get around the country or using the metro. Self-service laundry facilities were a great, and really cheap, addition too. Supermarkets nearby. Fantastic all round!

Staff are really helpful. Location is great just few minutes walk from subway. There are cvs stores along the way and nice local supermarket.

Truly unbeatable location for travelers that need frequent access to the shinkansen, JR lines and Midosuji metro line with the hotel located right on top of Shin-Osaka station - it takes only a few minutes to get from your room door to the required train gate. The room, while small, was very clean and modern. Love the "back massager" provided on the chair in the room, great after a long hard day of walking around. The shower cubicle was spacious and shower strength was very good. There were also enough power outlets throughout the room, which is great for charging lots of gadgets. I stayed at this hotel twice during a recent trip with one day in between stays and the hotel let me store my luggage free of charge. Finally, this hotel has a 12noon check-out time, which is later than most.
